George’s of Gloucester sits on the main road heading right into downtown Gloucester and the harbor. Our space started as a corner store market in the early 1900s and evolved into what it is today. We have been a place for fishermen, families, and friends to have a hearty wholesome homemade meal.

George’s has been family owned for over 100 years. Current owner, Dean Salah, took over on January 28th 2002 and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with a full bar.

While we see familiar local faces every day from our close knit community, friends come from far and wide to dine at George’s and take in all that Gloucester has to offer. We are a coastal community full of hometown spirit, maritime history, fresh seafood and a spectacular working waterfront. Our natural beauty is an ever-changing backdrop to explore, and also home to artists, independent shops, award-winning restaurants, with beach strolls and nature trails for everyone to enjoy.

We hope you’ll stop by!
